ACADEMIC VISION (Kunming University)

WANDERING AROUND Kathryn's university we came across an imposing statue of a woman standing on an island in the middle of a pond. Kathryn explained that she represented 'the scholar'.

The woman stood, in her left hand a book with the atomic symbol on it, her right hand rested on top of a globe of the world. You didn't need to tell me what she represented.
