JUST MAGIC (Singapore)

SU-KEE AND JANICE took us out to a seafood restaurant in a district built around a bay - a bit like Darling Harbour. As we stood outside waiting for a table - the usual tanks of fish and lobster were on display - happily looking much more alive and jumpy than your usual Sydney offering. Then something I'd never seen before - live prawns in the tank. This was so cool we took some video on the camera. (Coming soon). Several hours later we'd enjoyed the freshest prawns I'd ever tasted, shark fin soup, an awesome chilli crab, big cords of deep fried Octopus, some fried chicken and a big sea bass all washed down with a jug of Tiger Beer. Sago pudding for dessert. Just magic. On the way home we drove through Orchard road to show Kathryn, and drove by the Merlion.
