ACCOMODATION AND DINNER (Dequin)
OUR ACCOMODATION had views of the valley. The extensive home-done plumbing leading out of the solar hot water heaters indicated that showers at the end of the day would be preferrable to those at the start.
Dinner was at a grotty (but extraordinarily friendly) place with stools and a table one foot off the ground. We had steamed pork dumplings dipped in a soy/vinegar sauce - topped off with green tea - the tea leaves looking like they had been broken off from the backyard.
