TIBETAN VILLAGE (Zhong Dian)

THE PART of town near our accomodation was modelled on a Tibetan Village. No roads, just sloping cobbled laneways everywhere. The sound of building was here too - the clunk of wood and the whine of circular bench saws filled the air. Our place had opened in May this year, and all the surfaces look newly built. Kathryn thinks that in five years time this place will be filled with Scandinavian tourists.

This is a calf that was wandering down the road. It shows you the kind of random agricultural place this is.
