NOTE TO READER (Plane from Kunming to Zhong Dian)

OUR FLIGHT took us to Zhong Dian - still in the Yunnan Province, China but very close to the Tibetan border. As such Zhong Dian is filled with non Han-Chinese minorities, including Tibetans. Whilst still Asian, they sport darker coloured skin and squarer faces.
